Google crawling and stage site erasing

    Hello,

    I’m going to download and activate WP Staging in order to create a staging site to test some plugins for my main site but I have the following concerns and I hope you can clarify:

    1) Once the staging site is created, will this affect Google crawling of the main site. So, basically, will Google crawl the staging site?

    2)Would it be possible to update plugins and activate new ones only on the staging website?

    3) Finally, let’s say I want to erase the staging website after I’ve done with it, however, without removing WP staging plugin since I may need it to create new staging site in the future. Can I do it? And will it cause any issue to the main site?

    No, not possible as it is password protected and got the no-index meta tag.

    Yes, sure. It’s an independent website.

    Yes!

    And will it cause any issues to the main site?

    No!

    Will the staging site mirror the changes I make to the main site? Or should I erase and re-create the staging site in order to update it?

    Also, would you be bale to share the procedure to erase the staging site?

    No, it will not automatically mirror the changes. Your either need to Action -> UPDATE it or creat a new one.
