I get the following error message in Google Console:

JSON contents are invalid data that can not be parsed.

When I click on ‘See Amp Reference’ I get the following message:

    “HTML Tags
HTML tags can be used unchanged in AMP HTML. Certain tags have equivalent custom tags (such as and <amp-img>) and other tags are outright prohibited:”
Thena long list of prohibited tags which can be viewed here: https://www.ampproject.org/docs/fundamentals/spec#html-tags

Anyway, how do I stop this error message. Is there a setting I can change in the plugin to stop such errors? Thanks.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi mofojofo,

Thanks for bringing this to us.

The Analytics code looks like listed below but it’s a little bit different in your source Code.

As you can see ” , ” is being added in the source code.

Hi thanks. OK, but this difference is down to coding which I don’t create. How do I resolve this? Thanks.

    Hi,

I take it this would be a chargeable fix?

Hi, Sorry I don’t allow 3rd parties to root around in my site. I’m happy to pass you any necessary information, and with all other plugins, on the rare occasion of any issues arising, I operate this way just fine.

Let me know what it is you need and I can tell you. Thanks.

There are many ways to get the information you need and accessing the user’s site is not one of them. That’s going too far.

    You get the idea.

Volunteer support is not easy. But these forums need a safe place for all users, experienced or new.

Thank you Andrew, exactly and well said.

    Hi @mofojofo,

We understand your concern, but I would like to ask what are you using the latest version of our plugin?
How you are implementing the analytics in AMP?

Hi, I’m using 0.9.97.15, latest version.

I checked the settings an mine had advanced analytics turned on, with no additional data entered in the field.

I’ve turned advanced analytics off, IP anonymisation on, and my analytics code is correctly entered int he field.

MY settings now match those in your link above.

I ran the AMP test on Google Console and that seems to have fixed the issue – switching off JSON advanced analytics and using the basic default in the settings appears to have fixed the issue. Thank you.
