Just got a notice about suspected malware URL found in files. The original and subsequent scans display any mention of google.com as malicious URL, be in inside files or within posts. I noticed another topic on this thread from a year ago with a similar issue (URL below), except this time it isn’t google-analytics.com but google.com.

    Example:

This post contains a URL that is currently listed on Wordfence’s domain blacklist. The URL is: http://www.google.com/search

    Hi @hurikan & @dimchik,

Thanks for getting in touch with us about this. We recently expanded our domain blacklist by a considerable amount, which has led to some unexpected false positives in scan results for files or posts containing certain URL’s.

We have resolved the bug that caused this and these scan results should no longer be present the next time a manual or scheduled scan is run. We are adding a Quality Assurance step to avoid similar issues in the future.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Thank you for the quick reply and resolution.

    Thank you very much.
