Google Calendar privacy question build on page or put in widget?

  • Hi I’m new to word press and web in general.
Currently I’m building my first word press website. http://earthsongpeace.com/

I want to put a calendar in and it has been recommended to use google calendar. Digging in and reading how to — i see that it will make my google account public.

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/google-calendar/
Click on the Calendar Details tab and copy/paste the embed code into your blog. The embed code contains your Google account name, so be sure you’re okay with making that name public.

as this website is for a non-profit is it better that i open a google account in their name and use that account to build a calendar to keep my google account private?

also i was wondering is it best to use the calendar widget or to make a page and put it on it’s own page?

can some one please advise to these issues. Thank you.
