Google Calendar Event to Generate Blog Post

Is anyone familiar enough with the Google Calendar API to know if I could feasibly write a plugin that could automatically take event info from a Google Calendar Event and create a blog post out of it? I would love the ability to create an event and it automatically populate a blog post in a particular category, thus giving me an “Events” feed that could be shared out to other services and leveraged all over my website. Is this even possible?
