 * Hi,
 * Was going through my raw log files and notice that Google is being served cache
   pages. Obviously this is not good for obvious reasons. In this case Google requested
   and was served a non-exsistent css file, which returned a 404.

       ```
 * Why is Google being served cache pages & how do I stop it?
 * PS I contacted a friend who is using the premium (or should I say was), until
   he also discoved Google being served cached pages.
 * First of all we should know that this is not a big problem. I use WPFC in my
   site which has 30K daily unique hit. Google does not decrease our site in the
   search result.
 * Maybe your site would gain higher serps if Google was not served cached pages*
   winks*. Besides there are over 200 different values G uses to rank pages.
 * However, with 30K unique hits, I dare say your site has a decent inbound link
   footprint, so serving Google a cached page probably wont have a high negative
   factor overall.
 * But on a site which hasn’t got the authoritive links etc etc, it could have an
   effect on the site’s rankings in Google or other SE’s.
 * I’ve checked the file and it is working, so no idea why Google received a 404.
   However that’s a moot point.
 * The fact Google is being served a cached file, is the concern here.
 * So my question is… why doesn’t the plugin identify Google and other SE’s and
   simply serve them non-cached-pages?
 * Maybe something you might like to impliment in future updates…just sayin 🙂
 * because I want google to scan the page rapidly. We need speed not only for the
   visitors but also Google.
