 * My head is hurting now – why is my site not showing up on google AT ALL – like
   even if I do a specific domain search.
 * I followed all the advice I could find and changed things over the weekend – 
   no joy as yet.

 * It _can_ take several weeks before showing up on Google results. Does Google 
   crawl your site at all? Do you use Google Webmaster Tools that may provide some
   hints on what’s going on with your site with respect to Google. BTW, how long
   has it been since you launched your site?

 * Site launched several weeks ago but only tried to overcome the problems at the
   weekend.

 * Weird! However, a quick look at your site’s sitemap shows limited URLs. Google
   doesn’t mind how many pages a site has, though. How many backlinks does your 
   site have? Do you get any visits from those backlinks?

 * It seems your robots.txt file blocks Google from indexing your site.

 * There is no ‘disallow’ for any spider, unless I can’t see it.

       Allow: /
       Sitemap: http://htf-media.com/sitemap.xml.gz
       ```
   
 * Regarding the sitemap extension, Google recommends:
 * > Create a text file and save it with a .xml extension.
 * In other words, .gz could be wrong.

 * Remove the forward slash after allow and the entire third line and see if it 
   helps (maybe what I understand can be wrong).

    I’ve amended my robots & sitemap following your advice.
   Will see how that changes things over the next couple of days.
