@katesbo1
I think this is more a google API problem/ your site etup. It seems that the page is also reachable via http. Did you set up a 301 redirection?
I have spoken with both google maps and my hosting site to make sure that it’s only available over https. I believe the api is being called incorrectly with this script from your plugin, $api_url = is_ssl() ? ‘https’ : ‘http’ . ‘://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js’;
Hi,
It looks like you’re using an older version of our plugin, 1.32.3:
https://www.artguide.pro/wp-content/plugins/wp-job-manager/readme.txt
Can you try updating to the most recent version, 1.34.1, and see if you still have this problem?
Also, note that I’m not sure that $api_url = is_ssl() ? ‘https’ : ‘http’ . ‘://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js’;
comes from our plugin. I don’t see that anywhere in our code:
https://github.com/Automattic/WP-Job-Manager/search?q=%24api_url&unscoped_q=%24api_url
What file and line did you see that in?
The listable theme author advised that I revert the plugin back to the version I am using because of an unrelated conflict. I was hoping to resolve this without updating the plugin. The code is in wp-job-manager-client-side-geocoder on line 181.
Hi!
That file isn’t in our plugin, it’s from this plugin not made by us:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-job-manager-client-side-geocoder/
That plugin hasn’t been updated in a long time; is there any particular reason why you’re using that? Why don’t you try deactivating it and see if that resolves the mixed content error you were getting?
