• I have the Google Analytics WordPress plugin, and today I know I have over 2,500 visits (JetPack Site Stats shows 3,000+) but according to Google Analytics I constantly have “0” real time visitors.

I disabled the plugin and manually added the Tracking Code, no difference.

I triple checked the Tracking Code account number, it is 100% correct.

What is REALLY strange is every once in awhile, “1” visitor shows up Real Time in Analytics, then they disappear.

I constantly have atleast 50-60 Real Time visitors.

To further prove I am getting my traffic, I have already hit my daily AdSense average.

Is it possible that Google is having issues today? Any suggestions on what to do?

EDIT: I just realized that Analytics is still tracking visitors today (shows 1,900+ in Audience>Overview), but Real Time is showing “0”

    Please help!

  • I think Real-Time is busted for some people today. It’s not working for me either. I would just wait until they resolve it – the stats are clearly tracking in Google Analytics, so the code is installed correctly.

I just started having the same issue with one of my sites. I’ve tried different plugins to no avail. I have confirmed the code is loading correctly, so I guess it’s wait a see.

I use Drupal and have been having the same problem since this morning, so this does not seem to be WordPress-specific.
