# Google Analytics Tracking Code does not appear!

 * Hello,
 * Could someone please advise on the following:
 * I recently installed the new version of WP on my site, and installed the Google
   Analytics Plugin. Received and activated the Tracking Code from Google. All seemed
   fine.
 * However, since then, when I check the report on my web pages, the tracking code
   does NOT appear in the footer of the report (as it should do, since I set it 
   to default footer position in the plugin preferences).
 * Also, when I check the URL’s Google Analytics report, I get the following error
   message from Google:
 * “Alert
 * [http://www.google.com](http://www.google.com) received a message with incorrect
   Message Authentication Code. If the error occurs frequently, contact the website
   administrator.”
 * Could someone please help?
