    Hi mirkomurgolo,

Thanks for your message. I took a look at your website but I don’t see any Google Analytics installed on it? I do see Google Tag Manager, but no GA. Are you sure Google Analytics is installed and when you look in GA under Behavior > Site Content > All Pages, do you see pages from the right website there?

    Cheers,
    Jerry

On Gerry I see the pages of behavior, all the pages

    Hi mirkomurgolo,

Thanks for your reply. Would you mind sending me a message about this via callnowbutton.com/support/? I need a few more details about your website and ideally some screenshots. But we’ll discuss further via email.

    Thanks,
    Jerry

    Hi Mirko,

We’re still investigating the issue but I wanted to give an update here since this is a public forum.

You gave me access to your GA and we’ve established that the issue is related to your implementation of GA because:

    • The Google Analytics Debugger extension for Chrome doesn’t see GA on your website
    • I’ve been investigating this issue now for a couple of days yet your GA instance shows no visits from the Netherlands

Since the issue isn’t related to the plugin I’m going to mark this thread Resolved.

    Cheers,
    Jerry

Small rectification. GA wasn’t firing as it was depending on a cookie notice being accepted. With regards to the actual request, I was under the impression that the global site tag (gtag.js) would track events as well when GA was added via Google Tag Manager. This turns out to be not the case! When you use Google Tag Manager you will have to set up your own event tracking in tag manager.

I will create a short support article explaining how to do this and link to it from the plugin.

Mirko, thanks for flagging this issue!
