  • I am getting a PHP fatal error when I try to use the Google Analytics stats Widget. Here is how it prints out:

Fatal error: Uncaught exception ‘Google_ServiceException’ with message ‘Error calling GET (400) Invalid value ‘ga:’. Values must match the following regular expression: ‘ga:[0-9]+” in /home/abbeysan/public_html/wp-content/plugins/google-analyticator/google-api-php-client/src/io/Google_REST.php:66 Stack trace: #0 /home/abbeysan/public_html/wp-content/plugins/google-analyticator/google-api-php-client/src/io/Google_REST.php(36): Google_REST::decodeHttpResponse(Object(Google_HttpRequest)) #1 /home/abbeysan/public_html/wp-content/plugins/google-analyticator/google-api-php-client/src/service/Google_ServiceResource.php(177): Google_REST::execute(Object(Google_HttpRequest)) #2 /home/abbeysan/public_html/wp-content/plugins/google-analyticator/google-api-php-client/src/contrib/Google_AnalyticsService.php(274): Google_ServiceResource->__call(‘get’, Array) #3 /home/abbeysan/public_html/wp-content/plugins/google- in /home/abbeysan/public_html/wp-content/plugins/google-analyticator/google-api-php-client/src/io/Google_REST.php on line 66

Any way I can resolve this? Refreshing the page doesn’t work.

  • Its the same error that I get on most of my blogs. You have to reset the plugin and re-authenticate with Google Analytics.

Hopefully the plugin author/developer will fix this with the next release as I get tired of having to reset this umpteen times a day!
