    Hello!

When looking at revenue in Google analytics for a specific month, I am wondering, what does revenue include, when using your plugin?

I just noticed that when comparing the e-commerce report in Google analytics to the numbers in Woocommerce, Woocommerce gross sales are around 100 000 SEK more than Google analytics revenue for the same month.

We have had a discount code that has been used very much so I’m thinking it might have something to do with that?

    Best regards,
    Isabella

    Hi @isabella92,

We have made a test shopping journey till the checkout page(couldn’t make it to the thankyou page due to payment restrictions) and observed that the data are getting captured correctly.

Further, the discount coupon code cannot create such a discrepancy because the revenue data in GA gets captured after applying the coupon code.

Now assuming that the tracking at the thankyou page works correctly, so there could be a couple of reasons due to which this difference in revenue data could arise:

    – When a user doesn’t give tracking permissions as per the GDPR compliance.
    – When a user makes payment to place an order and after making the successful payment he/she closes the thankyou page within a fraction of seconds (because of the reasons like he/she is in a hurry or the thankyou page loads slowly).

    Hope this helps. Stay Safe!!

    Regards,
    Tatvic Analytics.
