 * Hi, please could you tell me the right query parameter I have to enter in Google
   Analytics to monitor users searches?
    I entered “ajax_search” but I dont know
if it’s right. And please…Have I to check the “Strip query parameters out of
   Url” option? Thanks

 * Hi,
 * Using “ajax_search” is fine by the default configuration. You don’t have to check
   that opion.

 * Thanks for the answer. Anyway with “ajax-search” as query parameter on Google
Analitycs, search terms used don’t seem to appear on Google Analytics Site Search
   Overview.
My website is connected to GA through Monsterinsight and everyting
works fine. Is there some setting or code I have to consider to solve the issue?

 * No custom code should be required, although I am not familiar how Monsterinsight
implements the google tracking code to the page. It is possible, that they might
use a different variable scope, so the plugin may think that there is no google
   analyitcs used.
Is there a site URL you can share, where I can take a look?

 * Thanks for the reply. However my site is in maintenance mode as it is still not
complete, so it is not publicly available. When I tried word searches on the
site I temporarily disabled maintenance mode and I searched not as admin logged
in user. But with no luck.
