Google Analytics plugins question (2 posts)

I installed the code for Google Analytics into the footer of my site, and everything seems to be working well. But, I would like to have some more flexibility/options, and am thinking about installing one of the GA plugins. My question is: since I already have the GA code installed, can I install a GA plugin now, or will that screw anything up? When you install these plugins, I assume they try to install the code into your website, but I've already got the code installed and running....

Along these lines, is there one particular GA plugin that you know about that fits my bill?

Most of the plugins will automatically insert the code for you. So all you have to do is remove your GA code and install, activate, and configure your GA plugin of choice.

Which plugin you go with really depends on your needs.
