Google Analytics Outbound Link Tracking

    We discovered that the outbound link tracking stopped working on the AIOSEO plugin as well as a number of other plugins that we use to add Google Analytics tracking code to our clients’ websites. We haven’t been able to pin-point what changed, but we wanted to alert the AIOSEO support team.

    Has anyone else reported this issue? It seems that we lost the outbound link tracking sometime in late September, if that provides any additional clue as to the cause.

    SumoMe’s Google Analyticator plugin seems to be one of the plugins that is not affected and still adds the necessary code to the outbound links.

    We have not had any other reports of this and outbound tracking on our sites still works fine. We’re not aware of any changes they made to the tracking code, so this could be a Google issue.
