I updated this website completely (was very past due for this) Since doing so the Google Analytics plugin does not produce any results. I went to the Google Analytics page and “updated” that to G4 – or at least I think so, but still it is stating there is no data for the selected date range. (the woocommerce report is showing everything correctly)

Can someone help me clear this up. I know this is vague but I don’t know where to start.

    Thanks

    Glad to help.

Looking at your web page, it shows the correct Google tracking code (assuming that you entered the correct tracking ID in the plugin settings). So the plugin is doing what it does, which really is only one thing: adds the required tracking code to your web pages.

Literally everything else, all the crawling, tracking, collecting of data — that’s entirely up to Google. So best advice if you’re not finding any data for the site, is to ask for help in the Google support forum. There someone with more technical insight will be able to help.

Or if you have any further questions about GA plugin, feel free to post them here. Thank you.

Thank you Jeff. Whatever I did it seems to have jogged it into working. Part of the solution was to wait a bit then log and back in – the reports are now there. I appreciate your comment because at least I knew I did not miss a setting!
