    Hi there,

Could anyone give me an indication of how to set up Google Analytics integration with the GTranslate plugin? We’d like to be able to see how many people are using the translation features and which languages are most popular.

I’ve looked at our Gooogle Analytics but can’t seem to find anything which resembles GTranslate. If someone could point me in the right direction I’d be most appreciative.

    Hi,

If you already have Google Analytics on your page and you are using the free version of the plugin you can check Google Analytics -> Behavior -> Events section to see how users interact with the language switcher. When you change a language an event is being triggered with the selected language and logged into Google Analytics.

If you are using our paid version, you will be able to see translated page visits like example.com/es, example.com/de, etc… Optionally you can also switch the Google Analytics tracker key, to track the translated pages separately.

Moreover, with the paid version you also get a dashboard with analytics data, please check our screenshots for more details: https://gtranslate.io/blog/introducing-gtranslate-user-dashboard

    Thanks! 🙂

Thanks for your response. I only switched the Analytics checkbox on yesterday so at this stage I haven’t seen anything under Behaviour->Events but I’ll check again in a few days. Thanks again.
