# Google Analytics in MAKE theme

 * Hi there,
 * is there any guideline where to implement code to rum google analytics in the
   MAKE theme? I couldn’t find anything or proper info where & in which .php to 
   write the GoogleAnalytics supplied code to.
    Looking forward to your replies.

 * Hi Mike,
 * You can add the code in your child theme by creating a `partials` folder and 
   copying over either `header-layout.php` or `header-layout-3.php` and putting 
   it there.
 * Alternately, you might just install a plugin like [Yoast Google Analytics](https://wordpress.org/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress/).
   It’s much easier. 🙂

 * Hi Melissa,
 * thank you very much for your advise. I already installed that plug-in, let it
   get the code from GA yesterday. Surprisingly now it works compared to like when
   I wrote my post.
