[Plugin: Google Analytics & Feedburner] Page Disappears

  • Hello,

When I make a post, all the people who subscribe to my feedburner account get an email. When Google Analytics plugin is activated, and the user clicks the link to the article, the page loads then disappears with a white screen. I checked the source code of the blank page and the only thing on the page is the head with a tag for google analytics but nothing else. I also tried to manually put the code in my footer and check the box that says manually insert and it does the same thing. This only happens on the feed burner URL’s from the email.

    WordPress Version 2.9.2
Google Analytics for WordPress Version 4.0.5
    FD Feedburner Plugin Version 1.42

  • Hi Tronicsmasta,

could you give me an example URL to deal with? Feel free to email me through the yoast.com contact form and I’d be very happy to look at this with you!

Just adding a note that I’ve run into this situation as well. I’m getting the blank white screen on incoming Feedburner links, and I was also seeing an issue where the entire web page was being reloaded into the UI of the tabbed version of Section Widget where I used it in my sidebars.

Both issues resolved after deactivating the GA plugin. Unfortunately this is on a live site and I can’t send you a working link since my client needs it working properly.
