    Hi there,

    at first: great plugin πŸ™‚

But now a have an issue with the Google Analytics cookies. At first I accept all cookies, cookies are set (even only marketing is checked then and statistics not). Then I change my preferencies in the cookie settings to only functional, cookies are not removed from the browser.

Any ideas? Maybe there is a conflict between Complianz and other plugins? Or there is another javascript which blocks the removement of the cookies?

Hope you underdstand my question πŸ˜€

    Kind regards

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @merdesi,

Cookies that are set on third-party domains cannot be removed. We, unfortunately, cannot access google.com, facebook.com etc.

The change in preferences will make sure Google Analytics is disabled. The cookie cannot be removed, but cannot retrieve any information.

    regards Aert

    Hi @aahulsebos,

thank you for your quick reaction!
Ok, so if I change the preferences no data or information will be sent to Google?

    Regards
    Michael

    Hi @merdesi,

    Exactly. Google will throw the following errors;

    No HTTP response detected
    Missing analytics.js script

Which is correct, because Complianz is blocking them before consent.

    Hey @aahulsebos,

thank you. One last question: When I choose “Alle akzeptieren” (accept all) only the marketing checkbox is activated – statistics not. The consequence is that in Google Analytics I only see that there is a visitor but not where. Maybe there is a misconfiguration?

    Hi @merdesi,

Maybe. How did you configure statistics in Complianz? If I know how, I can try to reproduce the issue.

    regards Aert

    Hi @aahulsebos,

sorry for delay. I wasn’t at the office for a few days.
    I configured statistics as follows:
    – Google Analytics
    – Compliance for statistics: yes
    – Complianz is allowed to configure statistics for me
    – tracking code is valid

How can I see If a cookie is sending data as you described above?
    “No HTTP response detected
    Missing analytics.js script”

I tested the settings on my colleagues computer – everything worked fine πŸ™‚ Statistics and marketing options were activated and deactivated when settings were changed.

    Regards
    Michael
