(footer). 3)Track outbound clicks & downloads (Checked). * But these default settings are contradictory as to track outbound clicks tracking code should be in header. * This is what Google says: * **_Important: if your pages include a call to \_trackPageview, \_setAllowLinker\ _trackTrans(), your Analytics tracking code must be placed in your HTML code above any of these calls. In these cases the tracking code can be placed anywhere between the opening tag and the JavaScript call._** * Also if you make use of .php pages to track your clicks, place “php” as one of the file extensions to track in the download section. * Thanks.
