Support » Plugin: Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent » Google Analytics – Blocked Stopping WooCommerce Checkout page loading

    Hi,

If I don’t accept statistical cookies my checkout page doesn’t load correctly, you can’t insert the card info into the boxes.

I think this is due to google Analytics cookies, and the goal I set – I have stopped the goal, but not removed it completely and changed its address to checkout/completed not just the checkout page, but still it doesn’t allow the website to run properly.

I’ve spoken to google but they aren’t being very helpful.

Please help me resolve this issue.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @lizzmask,

Is the Sumo integration enabled under Complianz > Integrations? If so, could you try disabling this, to see if that has any effect?

Just let me know if you have any updates.
    Kind regards,
    Jarno

Hi, sorry didn’t spot your reply to this.

Sumo is marked as on in the tabs under the integration section as is google analytics. (Sorry not a direct answer to your question but the best I can give)

I’ve temporarily (about an hour ago), removed the google analitic ID from my woocommerce account and also removed the GA cookie from the cookie scan and this seems to have solids the issue. I would however like to reinstate my google analytics, without crashing the checkout page.

    Hi @lizzmask,

    Thank you for your reply.
Would you be interested in testing a version of Complianz containing an updated version of the WooCommerce Square integration? This version would address the issue you mentioned.

Let me know if this is something you would want.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno

Installing now – do i need to re-sync my analytics? As I removed it form the woo integrations page completely.

    (@lizzmask)

I put my google analitic details back into woocommerce with the new plug in activated. Removed all cashes and looking at it on chrome to ensure I had no saved cookeies

And the checkout page wont load again.

I cant work out how to include a screen shot, but with only functional cookies selected I cant checkout

Going to disconnect Analytics again as I need my website to function.

    Hi @lizzmask,

It seems both the ‘old’ and newer plugin were activated at the same time and calling the same function, you can most likely deactivate the plugin in your WordPress Dashboard, or rename a complianz-gdpr folder in wp-content/plugins/ to “1complianz-gdpr” for example.

The settings will remain when deactivating a plugin.

If the newer plugin won’t change the issue, please deactivate WooCommerce Analytics as an integration under Complianz – Integrations and see if this works.

If that doesn’t work, please go to Complianz – Settings and enable Safe Mode. Please let us know where you ended up, so we can resume.

    regards Aert
