"Add Tracking to Comment Forms" Google Analytics Code is Seperate from Main Code (2 posts)

I'm using the Google Analytics (GA) for WordPress Plugin by Yoast and checked that I wanted to "Add tracking to the comment forms." However, when you view source, you see this part of the code is separate from the main GA code, and Google Tag Assistant is reporting an error on this.

Does anyone know why this part of the code is separate?

I have this same issue. Not a JavaScript or jQuery expert, so I won't speculate on how this works, but it seems odd to me that setAccount should be required again to facilitate event tracking.

In any case, it seems only to fire on a submit, so while Google Tag Assistant complains about that "Multiple Google Analytics tags detected" it's not double-counting pageviews.
