Hi, I have completed the setup, but no analytics data; when I click on the more analytics link, it transfers me to my UA analytics. I have a UA and GA4 Property in Analytics Accounts. I have been using GA4 long since.

I never see this kind of setup before. UA will be deprecated soon, and Sitekit always asks me to connect UA. I have repeatedly changed the property while setting it up, but it connects UA. If I try to delete UA and want to join again, the site kite shows it will create a UA property for me. But why?

See here the connection details: https://prnt.sc/PP12hxSH6JC_

Will you please help me to get data from GA4 and remove UA in the Site kit?

    Thanks

Hi @rajibms thanks for opening a support topic with us. At present, Site Kit only supports the display of UA(Universal Analytics) data and not yet GA4 within it’s dashboards. You can find out more information on this in our Using Google Analytics 4 (GA4) guide.

Here you will also find our GitHub issue for further GA4 work which is well under way with the team making good progress on this with the sunsetting of UA coming up as you mentioned. Please feel free to follow this for future updates on GA4 within Site Kit.

You can quickly jump to your Analytics account from the Site Kit dashboard by clicking on the Source: Analytics quick link which will take you to your account where you will be able to view your GA4 data as you have mentioned you can.

This is why the data in your Site Kit dashboard is only showing the UA data currently. You can add a UA code to the site and link this to your GA4. You can do this with the GA4 setup assistant.

We are making good progress on the GA4 reporting but I am unable to give a time frame on when this will be implemented but it is on the radar and being worked on.

Hope this helps to answer your question but let me know if I can help with anything else.

Thank You but I quit Site Kit because it wants all Google Services like Search Console, Analytics, and Adsense in the same account.
