• There is a Google Adsense plug-in that helps install Adsense code into your WordPress site. After I installed it, I uninstalled it because it asks what percentage of your Adsense income you want to donate to the author. I read in the reviews for the plug-in that even if you put 0%, the author still takes a percentage. Does anyone know if there’s any truth to this? The plug-in does ask for your Adsense account number, but can someone take a percentage of your Adsense income just by knowing your account number?

without going deep into the code of the plugin, you can’t be sure.
you might be able to find and remove the plugin’s author’s adsense code from the plugin code.

no, it is usually done by showing the plugin author’s own adsense code for a statistical percentage of the time the site is called.

I forget the name of the plugin, I found it on YouTube. I tried to go back to find the name but I see so many of them. I’m wondering if this could be a popular scam going on.

I guess one way to tell would be to install the plugin and then look at the code of your pages. If there is an Adsense account number that does not match yours, then that would be a sure sign, right?
