 * What is the best way to get google to pick up my blog? I ping using pinggoat.
   com fairly frequently, but google isn’t doing anything with my blog posts for
   some reason.

 * I used to have this problem, but google loves my blog now.
    Why? Tags. It really
   shouldn’t matter what tagging function you use. This will also get you a lot 
   of technorati traffic.
 * Additionally, check that you are also pinging pingomatic. That’s a great resource.
 * Other than that, I have no advice.
