Plus one.
Couldn’t we just have the ability to enter full URL for Goodreads. They’ve changed their URLs.
Thanks.
Is there a way to resolve this issue yet? I also would like to add the Goodreads logo to my WordPress blog utilizing the Social Sharing Toolkit plug-in so that it drives viewers to my Goodreads profile.
I cannot, unfortunately, because as Madestef mentions above, the plug-in has created as a default setting for Goodreads: “http://www.goodreads.com/profile” which no longer exists as part of the domain structure at Goodreads.com.
I think the Social Sharing Kit plug-in recently changed hands from one developer to another. I’m also a relatively new WordPress user so I don’t know about the appropriateness of reaching out to the developer about an issue like this or what would be an acceptable channel.
If someone knows how to resolve this, I would appreciate your insight.
It doesn’t appear as though there is support for this plugin here or anywhere that I can find. I am now using Social Media Widget and it works fine for me. You can use the correct GoodReads domain syntax with it, too. Hope this helps.
This issue will be fixed in the next release.
