Please read the first post in the support forum entitled: “IMPORTANT: READ FIRST BEFORE POSTING”. That says: “This is a community support forum. You can post your general questions here, however we cannot guarantee our response in this forum. We can only check here if we have time to spare which is not much.”
We have placed there different links which can better and help you quicker for urgent matters.
We’ve added there our documentation page. With the first article being Troubleshooting after Updating to Version 2.
You could check out the troubleshooting article, there’ a large chance that reading that could have solved your problem. That article has been updated quite a bit with the help of other users.
Also, if you’ve checked the first post, there’s a Stackable Facebook group as well that you could have joined. People have been helping each other there, and they could have easily pointed you to that documentation page as well to help you out.
Unfortunately, this is a major version update, and a lot has changed between version 1 and version 2. We’ve been working on this update for months and try to ensure that people who are upgrading would have the smoothest transition. With the help of our users, we’ve identified and fixed a lot of the issues they’ve encountered.
For important/urgent issues like the one you encountered, the community support forum here isn’t the ideal place to post.
Also, I’ve checked the post you made and we’ll need more information in order to investigate the problem. You also gave your edit link that doesn’t work without a log in.
So far, we haven’t encountered any problems of pages/posts losing their text. It would be better if you can email us the contents of the pages/posts that you had trouble with when you updated to version 2 (without actually updating). You can create a staging site and try things from there to ensure that your actual site remains intact. Our support email is at support@wpstackable.com
