Good start, will not work for all sites

    Glad to see that someone is taking care of the GDPR compliant use of Google Maps. This plug-in is a good start, but there is room for improvement as well.

    It’s important to realise that this plug-in will only work if you copy/paste the iframe HTML code through the sharing function of Google Maps. It will not work if you integrate a Google Map through a theme module or plug-in on your site. If you use one of these methods you have to rely on the theme/plug-in developers to make their theme/plug-in GDPR compliant.

    As a quick fix I’d love to have the opportunity to customise the message shown on the placeholder through the backend. And please: Do not add another main menu item to the backend for this, but place it under “Settings”. Thanks!
