• This product is solid and very useful. While I found omissions in the documentation, they were corrected after I mentioned them in an earlier version of this review. In the meantime, the support forum was useful.

Because I was able to import users with the free version, I thought that purchasing their $99 Custom Fields Import product, which lists ACF support, would enable me to import users with ACF. It does not. I had to scramble for another solution to complete my site on time (switching from ACF to user meta fields and doing my imports with the free plug-in Import users from CSV with meta). SmackCoders has refused my request for a refund. If you are considering upgrading to get features not offered in the free version, I recommend that you try WP All Import Pro instead, since that company offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.

    Hi,

Importing Advanced custom fields is available only in the custom fields import plugin and Pro version of our plugin. We have not described anywhere that we support ACF fields for our free plugin. If so, please let us know where we have mentioned it so that with your help we can remove it to avoid further confusions.

Also just to improve the performance of the free plugin, we have separated our import options into multiple add-on for different imports.

    Thanks.

Thank you. I see that it was different types of custom fields that were supported in the non-pro version. I will change my review.

I think it’s fine that you moved part of your plugin functionality to free add-ons, but it was not well documented, which was confusing.

    Hi,

We have now changed the documentation to install import users plugin to import the user-data. Hope this will give better understanding now.

    Thanks.
