• Actually a very good plugin, but the support lacks the will to understand the problem and find a solution to problems that are obviously not on the customer side. Despite repeated support requests and email traffic, the basic problem was not solved and the only solution was to install third-party plugins. The standard option to automatically update the expensive Pro Plugin via the WordPress update function is missing or, according to the developer, can only be activated when an update is currently available (doesn’t make sense!).

In my opinion not reliable for professional use!

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We understand your concern regarding plugin updates.

Our recommendations were based on the fact that standard updating process is handled by WordPress. Typically, it’s the responsibility of website owners to ensure that installed plugins are kept updated or to adopt another convenient updating strategy.

We advised disabling the auto-update option for the free Bookly version to prevent situations where the core plugin is updated while all other Bookly items (add-ons) remain on previous versions. This approach aligns with the updating systems of other popular WordPress plugins.

However, we’ve forwarded your concern to the Product team for further review. We’ll explore possible solutions that enable all available Bookly updates to be performed automatically.
