I can´t see how you can deliver this with Gutenberg in the core, without limiting all the other great options we already have for our sites (unless you use Thrive Architect directly in the core ,)

A website, blog etc. needs to be and remain simple, organized and it needs to have a clear goal – for example to convert (if you want to make a living of it at all).

Gutenberg seems to be more a playground for designers – and a big threat for everyone else – than a good option to go for.

Thanks for the interesting link @clemens100. That’s a great video too for a demo. I think there is a difference in that product and what the new editing experience offers – right now. The bit that comes in a little more is with the Customization focus and where the more ‘page building’ functionality appears in Gutenberg.

Yes, some design experimentation is happening in Gutenberg. But, this is being balanced with thorough and intense usability testing. Actually at WordCamp US this very weekend that is going on. It’s exciting to get feedback like this as it shapes the product.

Simplicity is an important guiding star to use for the project. A point we all need to recognise and hold onto.
