• Since the Super Page Cache plugin for Cloudflare can automatically add the cache everything rule, nobody can understand why it doesn’t just add the SPCFC Cache Rule ➜ Cache Eligible Requests rule automatically when people enable Remove Cache Buster Query Parameter.

In the internet age, there’s absolutely no excuse for making a user do a computer’s work!

    Hi @thejasonator,

Thank you for contacting us and sharing your review.

The “Remove Cache Buster Query Parameter” option is considered an advanced feature and is intentionally decoupled from automatic rule creation because it requires very specific cache behavior that the plugin cannot safely assume or enforce for all users.

The plugin doesn’t add the Cache Eligible Requests automatically because it could cause caching issues, requires features not available on all Cloudflare plans, might conflict with existing rules, and is meant for advanced users who can safely configure it themselves.

I hope it answers your query, Best regards

In that case I suggest you keep it in the Advanced section with a big red warning, and allow the advanced user the choice to use the API to create the rule, because it is a huge pain to do so manually for multiple sites.
