Good But…

    It is a good plugin.
    But there’s one annoying thing about it and It is this phrase constantly in front of my eyes:

    “Did you know WP Smush Pro delivers up to 2x better compression…”

    This makes me feel like this free plugin is doing nothing! Of course it is doing something but this phrase makes me unhappy. Specially because of this “2x”. How much compression is possible anyway?

    I hope in a new update this promotional phrase would change to a more thought-through one which would not make us feel unhappy with a good and fine plugin.

    First of all thanks for taking time to write a review and rate WP Smush, we appreciate the feedback and I’ll make sure to pass this to our marketing team 🙂

    As for WP Smush Pro having better compression that refers to Super Smush that uses lossy compression that indeed compress more then standard lossless compression that is available in the free version.

    Luckily we have a 14 days free trial on our site here so you can take advantage of that and check the difference between the two absolutely free 🙂
