The Gold Cart plugin page at getshopped.org lists as one of the features a grid view. Without any further details disclosed.

My question: is this grid view responsive?

I am using the Twenty Four theme in combination with the latest version of WP E-commerce.

I dont believe grid view mode is “responsive” as of current version. There are plans to make changes to the “responsiveness” of gold cart but that will be in future versions. Can`t say when.

You don’t need gold cart to turn on grid view … try this instead https://wordpress.org/plugins/amazing-wp-e-commerce/

@mihai, I am rebuilding this shop just because the old version wasn’t responsive. I hoped with getting the Goldcart plugin to have both the option of responsive grids and the gateway functionality. A bit disappointing

@nicknack, thanks for your tip. After installing and activating the plugin it threw me the error ‘The plugin does not have a valid header’. Ignoring the error it worked.

It seems to have the same functionality, grid-wise speaking, as ‘WP e-Commerce Grid View LITE’, enabling the built in grid-view option of wp e-commerce. But in both cases without responsiveness.

There is of course the premium version of ‘WP e-Commerce Grid View LITE’. It has responsive grids built in.
I dropped an email inquiry about compatibility with wp 3.8 en Twenty Fourteen. Will have to wait for their answer.

But in the meantime, does anyone have experience with ‘WP e-Commerce Grid View’ premium in combination with the Twenty Fourteen theme?

Or maybe some other alternative, free or premium.
