Hi, I am looking at the link, but still can’t find the difference between “going” and “not going”. Can you explain it?
Hi @ico33,
In the case of RSVP-style tickets, ‘Going’ allows users to indicate that they will attend an event and ‘Not Going’ allows them to indicate that they will not be attending an event.
Especially in the case of free, community-based (or private membership-based) events gathering this information can be really useful for event organizers, though it’s admittedly not always needed.
Paid-for tickets, on the other hand, such as those sold through WooCommerce (via Event Tickets Plus) do not use the same wording or offer those options, because if someone purchases a ticket, is generally safe to assume that they plan on attending the event.
Does that clarify things at all?
Hey there! This thread has been inactive for a while so we’re going to go ahead and mark it Resolved. Please feel free to open a new thread if any other questions come up and we’d be happy to help. 🙂
Cheers,
Andras
