Going away from tables to a responsive design
-
Hi guys,
Have really enjoyed getting to know WordPress and this theme’s community.
After designing the content of pages in tables, I’ve realised I’ve made a big mistake and should have written content in a more responsive design!
I’ve had a look in the FAQ and a bit on these forums but haven’t seen much written about my particular challenge, so I thought I’d start a new thread.
I’m keen to preserve the design feature of having images next to particular paragraphs of texts and that they align. ie. if screen width gets/wider narrower then the height of images and text sections stay the same. Any tips for doing this?
I realise I need to get my hands dirty with Bootstrap and scaffolding at http://getbootstrap.com/2.3.2/scaffolding.html#responsive – I suppose I also need to play around with breaking points? or is that part of Boostrap?
Website is at: http://www.worldatplay.org.uk/
Thanks for any help you might be able to give.
Sion
