    Hello,

I’ve been trying to place live orders for testing purposes using Google Pay & Apple Pay on Chrome browser on iOS – iphone 13 but they repeatedly fail without any indication on stripe about the failed payment.

I checked all the orders of customers who placed an order using Apple Pay the past few days and all of them were using Safari browser.

Do you know what could be wrong here?

I’m on the latest version of the plugin v3.3.80

Another thing I noticed, as a verified G-Pay merchant, is that on iOS Chrome, Google API can’t pull my card’s last 4 digits and show it on the button. When using iOS Safari the Google API shows the last 4 digits of my card on the button successfully. [EDIT: I can’t see the last 4 digits now on Safari either, after navigating for a while around…]

Also, on Windows that I am now, I can’t see my card’s last 4 digits either on the G-Pay button.

I noticed that the latest customers that successfully placed an order using the G-Pay came from Chrome on Android or Linux.

    Hi @barnabas1

Do you have any additional information such as a message that appears on your checkout page when the payment doesn’t process?

Can you share a product page url so your site can be reviewed?

How GPay displays in different browsers is not something that’s controlled by or related to the plugin.

    Kind Regards

    Hi @mrclayton,

    Thanks for the reply.

After I try to place the order, when the apple pay/google pay modal goes away, I’m still shown the same page I was, either cart or checkout page where the express checkout buttons are placed as if nothing happened. Stripe doesn’t show anything, but woocommerce picks up the attempt to pay and sends a failed payment notification.

You can check this product here

    Hi @barnabas1

I was able to process a payment using GPay with test mode enabled.

    Order #20250115-5624.

Please try GPay in test mode as well and see if you encounter any issues.

    Thanks

I was trying to place the order of a test product of cost £0.01 and it was not working. I think I was being too clever or a bit stupid with my test.

When placing an order of a normal priced product it works.

Sorry for the trouble. All is fine I guess.

    Kind regards

    Hi @barnabas1,

Yes, Stripe requires a minimum of something like $0.50 when processing a payment.

    Kind Regards
