    I tried quite a few Google mapping plugins, before settling on this one.

    Took me a little while to wrap my head around the way it works and how to set up custom results and search templates, but once you do, this plugin is very powerful and went beyond what I initially thought I could achieve.

    What makes this plugin really powerful is that you can use custom post types as the core search result-set. This is very powerful – most other plugins of this type try and force you into using their own internal post types which is limiting if you need to hook in your own custom taxonomies and post type extensions.
