Hi, I’m having real issues here. I’m was using windows hosting and switch to Linux hosting thinking that it would help with website performance. Now my website is an empty shell with no image/flash. Godaddy told me the transfer was successful and I have to look at my coding. Seriously I have no idea how to code. I went to File Manager and everything is still there. Nothing was changed in wp-admin, so why isn’t my content being upload? I phpmyadmin, not sure if that’s relevant. Thanks in advance for the help if you ever encounter this issue.
    my website is http://www.bubbleshootergameonline.com

  • I think I know what happen, all my contents was directed to my /wp-content/games/ so in media (wp-admin) was empty. I just tried add from Server to wp-admin media folder and it went to /wp-content/uploads and now it’s working. So for Linux I cant choose my own folder to upload to?

still doesn’t make sense because some of my content doesn’t work or show up.

do I need to use permalink as default for linux? If i change to %postname% some of my link get 404 error.

lets close this since nobody can assist.
