Hi, I’m attempting to export my client’s GoDaddy Quick Shopping Cart setup to a WooCommerce setup. I’ve used the CSV Import extension to get all the products/SKUs/info/etc, and all I’m left with is the images.

I used a website copier to get a copy of the entire site and files (since GoDaddy doesn’t allow FTP access to Quick Shopping Cart), and I have all of the image files. I also exported an .xls of the image file’s “names” attached to their respective SKUs.

HOWEVER. Quick Shopping Cart assigns a randomly generated number to each image when it’s uploaded, so its file “name” in the Product Image Export is different than its actual filename.

Does anyone have a clever way of getting these images assigned to their respective products? There are about 600, and doing it manually would be a pain. I’m thinking some sort of script that goes to each page on the current site and attaches the item’s SKU to the product image (found by looking for CSS class?) would work… but I’m just not sure.

  • No need to worry about this further. I’ve hacked together an amazing solution, and I’ll post a video tutorial soon to show others how to achieve the same thing.

I hate to be a pain, what did you do to figure out the solution? I have the same problem and looking for a solution.
