GoDaddy Install Very Slow…will wp-cache help?

Hello everyone,

I realize this might be more of a question for GoDaddy’s support staff, but I figured that I might try to fix this myself.

I’ve launched a client site and things are running extremely slow. I’ve run a speed report on the site with the Firefox web dev toolbar, and nothing on that end seems to be bogging down the site (especially when compared to many other WP installs out there who use different hosting services).

Would installing the wp-cache plugin help speed up the site at all? If so, how the heck do I configure it to work well? The site is for someone who is a podcaster and might see a moderate amount of traffic.
