Hello and thank you for a great plugin.

When a user hits the “Goal bonus”, it does not show up on statistics, any reason why?

    Thanks.

For your info I’m running Football Pool version 2.6.5.

I just tried it on my install and I see the goal bonus in the charts. So, if it is a bug, it must be related to your settings or environment.

Very strange that the other statistics works very well with the same settings and on the same environment, but not the “Goal bonus”. The “Goal bonus” has been calculated like the rest, but not showing up on statistics, like the rest.

Please see screendump -> https://www.dropbox.com/s/d5vhm52y5ig0raq/football-poll-goalbonus.png?dl=0 (it is in danish but the colors are the same).

    Thanks.

I can see a combination when a user hits “Toto score” and also “Goal bonus”, the statistic for “Goal bonus” will not display correctly (it is calculated by the book). But when a user only hits “Goal bonus”, it displays very well.

Ah, I see. The goal bonus and goal diff bonus are always a bit confusing to me 🙂 I created those scoring options a long time ago for a specific use case (as a request for a user of the pool), but never used them myself.

When a user scores a toto score and the goal bonus, this is only plotted as a value in the bar for toto score. If a user only scores a goal bonus and nothing else, this is plotted as a value in the bar for “just the goal bonus” (hence the name, but maybe this was lost in translation).

You should be able to alter this behavior by hooking into the chart functions (the data is available in the database) but this requires PHP and SQL knowledge. The hook for the bar chart is footballpool_score_chart_data, if you want to give it a try.
If you also want to alter the chart itself, e.g. the x-axis labels or series, you’ll also have to hook into other parts of the plugin. This is doable, but can get complicated very quickly.

Thanks, I’ll give it a try.
