Go directly to registration form instead of "login"

First of all, let me say I LOVE this plugin. I am very pleased with what it can do, thanks for such a great piece of equipment.
I have a couple of questions, not sure if they’re difficult or easy since I’m a low-grade coder, but (1) I would like to make it so that the default form that comes up is the registration form, and perhaps put a link to the ‘login’ form at the bottom of the box instead. Would this be possible?
Also (2), I’d like to edit the content of the registration box, specifically removing the username panel and the notification that a password will be emailed to them. Neither of these are essential for what I am doing.
I am using this plugin in conjunction with Register Plus Redux which handles some of the form content work for me, but my above questions come under the umbrella of SimpleModal-login.
