Gmaps not loaded in IE11 over SSL

    I tried several things like commenting out parts in the code and turning plugins on and off, but I still have this problem.

    When opening the website in IE11, the gmaps area shows only a grey box. No errors, and the list with stores is shown. Other browsers don’t have the problem, and loading the page without SSL loads the page right.

    Any suggestions?

    Do you still have this problem? If I switch IE to emulate the IE 11 mode, then the site works fine for me.

    No problems show up in the browser console for you?

    I still have the problem. Emulating in a newer IE won’t create the error, I only see the error on a win7 system with IE11 (laptop as well as the VM version).

    Is the plugin always using the latest gmaps version? Because the client thinks the problem appeared only a few weeks ago, and we didn’t ran any update.

    It does always load the most recent version, and a new version was released in May.

    If you’re comfortable with code, then I can explain how to force the loading of an older version.

    That would be great, then I turn off the auto update for this plugin.

    Try to add this to the functions.php inside your active theme folder. If that doesn’t change anything, then try to change the 3.32 to 3.31 or an even lower version.

    Thx! That did the trick. I had to use the 3.31 version to also show the markers.
