GMail SMTP errors out with google_no_code_scope

    Hi,

    I was using GMail as SMTP without any issues and for observing an issue with GMail where I’m not able to authenticate gmail.

    After approving my app, I get redirected to below page with “google_no_code_scope” error.

    I’m sure all the creds are correct for gmail auth.
    But not sure why this issue is popping up.

    Can you please help me here ?

    Hi @vaakash,

    The issue indicates that there was an error while processing the authentication request. Maybe no auth code was generated due to some issues. Usually, re-trying authentication fixes this issue.

    I’ve tried the authentication multiple times. The issue is same. Could you please help me fix this ?

    Hi @vaakash,

    The error appears usually when we haven’t received a special code from Google when the user approved the connection on Google site or the scope is unusual. This could be due to some server configuration or try setting up Gmail again with all the steps in the tutorial in case that helps.

    @sanzeeb3 I’m still not able to use gmail smtp. I’ve stopped using the plugin after trying all things.
