    Hi there,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that the default WooCommerce emails such as new order confirmation email have warning markers next to them.

WooCommerce uses the default WordPress wp_mail() function to send emails and deliverability rates are often quite a bit lower than those of dedicated SMTP providers or single emails sent by an actual person. Furthermore, due to complexity of modern anti-spam filters deliverability issues can be hard to troubleshoot, and emails sent using wp_mail() function lack certain attributes such as SPF or DKIM signatures, therefore Gmail might consider those emails as fraudulent.

Our Email FAQ outlines the troubleshooting steps which you may want to go through.

Getting a dedicated SMTP service provider is the last step and that would significantly increase the chances of your emails passing anti-spam filters, reaching inboxes and being viewed as trustworthy by anti-spam filters, especially if SPF and DKIM signatures can be set up with that particular SMTP service provider.

    I hope this helps!
