I understand you’re experiencing issues with importing variable products and their global attributes. This issue can be quite frustrating, especially when it was previously working fine.
Just to clarify, the CSV file was not included. Could you please share a screenshot of the CSV file, or rather use a file sharing software like We Transfer.

I have been doing some tests with the sample file with the original data and with mine. I have realized that the variable products included (V-Neck T-Shirt and Hoodie) also do not correctly mark ‘used for variations’ when I change their SKU, and I don’t understand why.
I am puzzled.

Do you have the ‘Parent’ column set in the ‘variation’ type product to the SKU as the ‘variable’ type it related to?
For example:
variable – Hoody – SKU123 – atrributes small,medium,large
variation – Small Hoody – SKU123-s – parent: SKU123 – attribute small
variation – Medium Hoody – SKU123-m – parent: SKU123 – attribute medium
variation – Large Hoody – SKU123-l – parent: SKU123 – attribute large
Yes, I do. But I am doing the process in two parts. First, I import the parent products and then the variations, in a second import. It is in the import of the parent products where the problem appears, as regardless of whether they have associated variations, the attribute should be marked as ‘used for variations’ if it has been set as global, don’t you agree?
In any case, I have tried it, I have imported parent products and variations in the same import and it has not worked.
I have also been testing the sample CSV with some Woo products and some of my own. The attribute is shown as global for Woo products but not for mine, even when the data is the same. But the curious thing is that it stops working if I change the SKU of the Woo products

Column AF is wrong – the Parent needs to be the SKU of the variable product – in this case 2001

Thank you very much for your help, but what if I want to do the import in two steps because I have thousands of products? First the parents assigning the global attributes and a second import with the variations. And it doesn’t work, here’s an example:

I’ve done it like that before – you just need to ensure the parent column in the variations import is correctly telling it which SKU the variation is a part of
