    Global Plugins are global. Not for individual roles.

    Thanks for the reply.

    So there’s no way to limit which plugins are loaded in wp-admin by user role?

    I’ve tried a Plugin Filter workaround but that doesn’t seem to work:

    For future reference this is how to achieve WP-ADMIN enabling by roles:

    • Set main “Settings” page so that (1) ‘Fuzzy URL’, ‘Selective Loading’, ‘Selective Admin Loading’ are all set to “ON” and (2) You’ve enabled the ‘Role Support’ for the Roles you want to enable plugins for. {SeeL}

    • Create Plugin Group (e.g. “Custom CMS” plugins) {See:}

    • Globally disable that Plugin Group in Global Settings {See:}

    • Create a Plugin Filter and match it to permalink “………/wp-admin/” exactly with “Also Affects Children”. {See:}

    • On that Plugin Filter, remove the Globally Disabled Plugin Group under the Roles you which to enable the plugins for. {See:}
